More good news for the second team, who climbed impressively out of the basement with their second win of the summer. 4-1 and 19 points the best haul yet. And it was nearly a full house 20 as Mark Fleming narrowly failed to topple Greg Smart at 1st string.
Another comeback from the captain saw John Creek pick up extra ranking points as he overhauled the fading star Farhad Dabestani. Not bad for a man who gets his bus pass this year :)
Both 1st and 2nd teams will need to be wary of complacency over the next few weeks, once the 'unexpected' holidays of the faithful start to creep up on us. Still, for now we can bask a bit.
