KP2 v Tunbridge Wells SRC 4 21/01/2014

Knole Park 2nd team finally recorded their first win of the season, strengthened by the addition of 2 surplus 1st team squad.  4-1; 19 points to 7 was a good haul, in spite of Chris Shepherd-Barron just failing to stretch his wounded knee over the finishing line.

Chris went down 2-3 to a classy Steve Martins, who showed years of experience and a silky touch in slowing down Chris's slam-bam game.

Good wins for everyone else - Pete Brightwell 3-2 after a ding-dong with tricksy John Pitt.  Mark Fleming's cuts and flicks too good for a floundering Chris Beale.  Jerry Staffurth's touch and accuracy also too good for the long reach of Joe Challis.

Finally, Mike Stuttard's search for confidence after an injury lay-off was rewarded with a solid 3-1 win over quick but inexperienced Will Burke.

The new Club T-Shirts (pictured below) went on sale and they were a lot easier to shift to a winning team, especially as news of the 1st team's triumph away at Waterfront began to emerge.
